Thank you EVERYONE for all your volunteer help at Border
Champs. We know it's like a broken record but it takes so many of
us - and we're very proud of how you all step up to meet the challenge.
Speaking of Border Champs, WETT performed quite admirably at our
Championship meet. Congratulations to high point winners
Francesca, Nina and Paula (all FIRST PLACE!!); and Ivy and Hugo
(2nd place). Victoria and Natalie both earned a much-desired trip
to TAGS, Victoria dropping in all 7 of her races a total of nearly 14
seconds, and Natalie dropping over 30. Naomi and brother Adrian
each dropped over 16 seconds; Francesca dropped nearly 17; Arabella
dropped in almost everything a total of over 31 seconds; Nicholas
dropped in every race he swam, a total of over 11 seconds; Enzo also
dropped in everything almost 20 seconds; Nina had a spectacular meet -
dropping in ALL 9 of her races a total of over 40 seconds!
Celeste dropped in all 4 races she had swam previously for a
total of over 40 seconds; Kat dropped in 7 of 8 for a total of nearly
25 seconds; Mackenzie dropped in nearly everything a whopping total of
87 seconds! And young Mia dropped in all 7 of her races a total
of over 26 seconds. These are remarkable improvements parents!!
Mr Lin is very, very proud.
Next up is the Sectional meet in College Station. Best of luck to
Syd and Faith. You're in prime shape - we know you'll do well.
The following weekend will be the high caliber TAGS meet in
Houston. We're so proud to be sending Natalie, Victor, Branson,
Victoria, Nicholas and Manny. We can't wait to see how well
you do. You're already winners.
