Coming down to the wire - it's Championship Season! Congratulations to all the WETT high school swimmers on their performances at their District and Regional Championships - and good luck on your next step - although luck has nothing to do with it - it's your hard work we're seeing paying off!

Good luck to Shanny, Victor and Branson at COPS this weekend and to Manny at the Lost Dutchman in a couple weeks.

Sun City Seals meet is February 19th - 21st. Consult your coach for recommendations on swimming this meet and what events should be addressed BECAUSE
BORDER CHAMPS is the following week. This is our Short Course Championship and what most of our swimmers have in their sights. The invitation will be distributed soon with details - but in the meantime, it's a Friday through Sunday meet, timed finals with a single session (all ages) each day. There will be qualifying times on events of 400 yards and longer. Swimmers are limited to 3 events and 1 relay per day. Age groups are 8&under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15&older. Friday night will feature 200 free, 200 fly and (for 12 & under) 200 IM; and the 400 IM and 500 free. The 1650 will be swum last on Saturday. Relays will be swum Saturday and Sunday.

As most of you know, each team is responsible for meet operations at Border Champs for one of the sessions. WETT has Friday evening, along with SWAT. We are responsible for console operation, laptop scoring, safety marshal, head timer, lane timers for 4 lanes, Hospitality and clerk of course. We'll be hitting you up for YET AGAIN some volunteer time for this meet. You still have a chance to get your volunteer hours in.
